One of the rarities in the antique paisley world is this so called 'Four Seasons' shawl. The shawl was meant to be worn with a different color facing outward after folding the shawl in half, then triangular, to wear at different times of the year. This example has a center medallion of ivory, sage, red, and teal, and the remainder of the shawl is woven in lovely palette of blue, violet, and related colors. In excellent condition
