Classic configuration with a twist-- the central medallion is an abundant floral bouquet hooked in raised fashion so the flowers are three-dimensional and textured. This is a hallmark of a specific type of rug from Waldeboro, Maine, but those examples were hooked only on linen, and this one has a burlap foundation though its flowers are as dense and lush and raised. Sunny looking with the variety of yellow tones, so unexpected in a floor rug. Excellent condition
