Said to have been made for, and perhaps designed by Arthur Meltzer, noted Bucks County, Pennsylvania artist for his home Juniper Hill. Recently one of his paintings sold for over $ 300,000, a record for this artist. The colors are sophisticated and lovely together, and the pattern combines a small floral with strong geometrics. The entire rug, runner-length to some, is shown in two photos, with the lower portion hooked with his name and the location. Unique.
