Most unusual to find a stuffed work three-dimensional floral pattern from the early 20th century, as this style of high relief quiltmaking was a favorite among highly skilled quiltmakers in the mid 19th century mostly. Each softly shaded yellow flower is slightly bent as if caught in a breeze, and all the petals are stuffed. Lovely scalloped border edged in the spring green color that is traditional to that era. Usable either vertically or horizontally because the blocks are set on point. An uncommon find!
