Most unusual to find this pattern dating before 1900| and in this rare color. The workmanship is superlative. It is skillfully executed| with a delicate 'dogtooth' border around the perimeter. High quality 19th century quilting throughout. A circular motif adds textural interest at the center. In the 1930s Colonial Revival Period|this design was published and can be found sometimes in red| pink| sky blue. This is the only one even seen in yellow| and it is a beautiful shade of yellow| a plus.
