AMISH NEEDLEWORK VINTAGE PILLOWS, several choices available
Surprisingly AMISH, these needlework pillows were done in colorful yarns in geometric or floral patterns during the 1920s-50s. Usually made as generously sized squares with box sides and occasional piping (box side strip about 2" high). The colors are those seen in Amish clothing and needlework accessories, not somber tones at all, which is how one mistakenly thinks of Amish garb. This example has a symmetrical pattern of grapes on the vine with a stylish needlepoint grapevine added all around the pillow sides. We have other pillows in inventory now with wonderful flowers and different patterns. Please request photos.
