This Cherokee quilt was a prize for Snake Creek Baptist Church raffle. The format is quite imaginative, making the legs of the eagle serve also as two of the arms of the bold star. Star patterns were a favorite for gift gifting among Native Americans; several different traditional patterns are known, but this is a creative original to my knowledge. .
