Breathtaking in pattern and fabrics. Many printed cottons from the first half of the 19th century prchestrated into a pattern called Broken Stars, Carpenter's Wheel, or also Dutch Rose. Beautifully rendered and balanced with a lovely applique border framing the entire quilt. Too large to hang properly for photo in my narrow hallway
