| This intricate quilt is English. Crisp in condition and in palette, and big. It is a dramatic bold graphic design. Light and dark colors arranged as concentric squares around a center medallion are revealed from the strategic color placement of the octagonal motifs. Cotton prints in almost- patriotic colors extend out to a wide blue border bound all around (slightly cropped off in large photo) with a narrow red edge.
