A pieced "Sunshine and Shadow" pattern set within a pieced "square" combines two of the classic eastern Amish quilt patterns in one| but no provenance came with the quilt. The fabrics are yummy| the rayon-cotton gabardine of men's 1940s shirts Backing is original| but there is no batting inside| so the quilt is more summer weight.
