This dramatic abstract modern-looking visual transforms a simple construction. The slim BARS strips are pieced of mostly work clothing scraps of random size and shape. Great palette of warm neutrals comes from the heavy cotton broadcloth, flannel shirts, twill pants and work clothing cut up to recycle into this graphic quilt. Chosen to be included in the permanent collection of the American Embassy in Dakar, Senegal.
