George Edouard TREMBLAY (1902-1987) was a Canadian artist from Quebec whose studio during the 1940-50's produced fine hooked rugs notable for their winter landscape imagery and distinctive wide borders hooked in a different direction from the body of the rug as if the image was framed, all part of the design. One of two complementary Trombley snow scenes I have in inventory right now; infrequently found.
