DIAMOND GRID ENCLOSING RECTANGULAR STRIPS ANTIQUE HOOKED RUG

Most desirable late 19th patinated colors in a unique pattern. Diamond grid in charcoal has the color variation indicating the materials were scraps from several sources, most likely woolen outerwear, The diamonds within the grid are formed in narrow rectangular curving panels as if to represent the fronds of a leaf or a feather, a configuration I have not seen before.
