CATALOGNE BED RUG, ask for photos of other inventory
| CATALOGNE or bed rug is the French Canadian term for this handwoven textile made like a rag carpet. WE HAVE MANY EXAMPLES IN ALL DIFFERENT COLORS. SO PLEASE ASK. Usually woven in long length to be cut and sewn together to form a bed size covering. This one is unusual for two reasons: is still uncut, and so usuable as a hallway runner or for upholstery, and it is apparent from the limited colors and pattern that this was intended to be seen and appreciated for the plaid design, Others may have random coloration. We can have it cut and seamed for you as a bedspread if you like. Typically in pastel or lighter colors than a floor runner, in my experience many clients buy these not for the ned but for the floor because they are lighter in appearance..
