The wide bands of color are braided like basketry with many strands, not just the three strips that comprise tradtional braided rugs. The colors alternate light and dark within the braided bands for a staccato effect. Collected in PA where there are an eye catching choice of techniques used that produced an intriguing variety of floor coverings
