A rare find in a generous size and really great condition in light of its more than two hundred years of age. Barrage is the French term for linen woven with jacquard motifs, in this case there are repeat medallions in lustrous red and blue wool scattered in regular formation all across the spread. Three panels sewn together. Minor mending in a couple of places. Collected in Alsace, France.
