| A special find--tweedy wool yarns masterfully knit into a large rug. Precise handiwork, subtle thoughtful composition. Strips look narrow or wider stripes depending on the color juxtaposition, though they are the same width. Tweedy yarn adds liveliness to the dark palette that is mostly charcoal and cordovan wine. Finished with a slightly scalloped knit edging. I have never seen another. Would be great on the floor or as a table rug or mounted on the wall. Very stylish and modern looking though dates back to early part of the 20th c.
