| White embroidery in raised dimension accentuates the aspen(?)leaves on chain stitched slender branches. Signed Z. Huston in lower right corner| dated 1874. Such embroidery candlewicks usually emerge from New England in the earlier 19th century; don't know locale of this lovely example, | but still it is an uncommon find. Details are mirror imaged across the entire center so can be used horizontally or vertically. (Photos done in various contrast photoshop efforts to try to show details.)
