| Graphic variation of one of the 19th century's most frequently seen patterns. This one is modernized, and made patriotic, through the use of just red and white in bands to emulate the pieced flag, and accented with one inch blue squares alluding to the start field of the flag. The pattern is intensified through the use of just the two major colors in wide fdiagonal bands, and the barn Raising (concentric diamonds) effect cascades as if from a single point.
