Made with postage stamp size pieces under 1" square| and organized as radiant diamonds rather than as a square. Graphically dimensional thanks to the concentric diamonds| the contrast of lights and darks| and the ombre'd shading that underscores to angles pieced from gradations of the concentric colors; black| red| cheddar and green bands abutting pale yellow and pastels. Artfully shaded| reads pinkish on the screen but not so at all in person. A superior example of a classic pattern.
