This crisp graphic quilt is of Amish or Mennonite origin. It has a wide deep red border bound with a printed light red fabric that folds over from the backing. The design is created with pieced sage green strips and black strips collected into diamond shaped areas and each block is centered with tiny bright red squares. When you look at it your eyes choose to see either green medallions or black medallions as if they are strung on a red ribbon, a true optical illusion effect of this particular variation. This quilt is striking for either wall display or as a throw or accent anywhere.
