| This is the reverse side of the pieced Centennial kerchiefs Flags of the Nations quilt show in sku #11065. The material is uncut printed cotton yardage that would have been purchased as the individual kerchief, for one to roll the edges oneself and use or save as a souvenir of the Exhibition in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia in 1876, a groundbreaking event in American cultural history. This Washington kerchief is fairly uncommon, and as one side of a spectacular patriotic pictorial quilt, it is a rare discovery.
