DOTS INDIGO ANTIQUE QUILT

what fun- how modern looking and yet so historic - even George Washington painted large dots on some walls in Mt Vernon. These dots are actually pieced of four quadrants sewn together precisely to form a true circle in a geometric pattern sometimes called Borrow and Return in which the curved quadrant cut from the square of indigo is used for the neighboring block. This is a classic tiny print in indigo against white, with just the barest of traces of wear near some of the seams.Very well quilted and generous size to fit even a queen bed
