This wool challis Log Cabin is gloriously colored with a variety of printed and solid fabrics. The solids include mauve| purple| burgundy and tobacco. The wool challis include cream| brick red| navy and tan prints. It is as interesting on the reverse: the backing| which is the foundation of the log cabin squares| is pieced squares in rust colored printed fabrics that have been joined together with French seams. Some repair is needed to stitch the squares back together on the backing| but the overall condition of the quilt is near excellent.
