| THE classic log cabin in terms of both pattern and coloration. The Barn Raising is a great, long distance graphic, and it is timelessly appealing in the warm earth tones contrasted with the lighter ground prints that create the alternating diagonal bands. The strips of cotton print are about 1/4" wide rather than the typical 1", probably amounting to several thousand pieces overall but who's counting! Excellent untouched condition. Rather than being anchored together with stitches, this quilt is anchored with tiny red knots that are nearly invisible due to the busyness of the prints.
