Repeat blocks of concentric squares of red, olive green, taupe and charcoal wool--a contemporary looking graphic in a century-old quilt. Fabrics from suits and perhaps uniforms| often seen in Amish and Mennonite quilts from upstate New York and Canada. Hang it straight or as a large diamond shape in an outsized interior for bold effect| or use warmly on a bed as originally intended.
