SAMPLER ANTIQUE QUILT, signed ELMER, ANNIE ROLLO
The names ELMER, ANNIE and ROLLO are pieced into the upper top and side border of an eye-dazzling sampler quilt containing many different pieced pattern blocks. Who were they? Was this made as a wedding gift for Elmer and Annie if the last name was Rollo, or were the three linked together some other way?! If it was made as a gift, imagine the delight to receive this vivid quilt with its many late 19th- early 20th century printed fabrics. The multiple borders are another plus, as is the crisp untouched condition.
