LADY OF THE LAKE applique hearts & stars
| The unique border appliqued with hearts, stars and geometric motifs adds interest to an already pleasing quilt. The repeat blocks are an intricate pieced pattern combining large and small triangles. The lovely uncommon colors feature apricot and earth tone cottons so easy to live with 150 ish years later. Unusual for a quilt of this piecing and era to have such a fanciful finish; a plus for collectors.
