Names of friends and various wishes for wedding happiness are embroidered in multicolor wool yarns on a randomly pieced charming true crazy quilt. Only the locale is missing; the sentiments are real. Just read along to see the wonderful sentiments conveyed in this unique composition intended as a wedding gift. Some names, many warm wishes included, but no locale, so geneology would be more of a challenge. Retains all the fresh bright colors of century old wool yarn used to create the floral elements and the inscriptions. Flower embroidery and material suggest a Pennsylvania origin. EXHIBITED: "TEXT ON TEXTILES: WORDS AS DESIGN IN ANTIQUE QUILTS" October 2009 Houston Quilt Festival.
