ANTIQUE THEOREM -THE FOUNTAIN OF AEGERIA IN ROME

Sku:30029

Copied from a print source most likely by a schoolgirl in a New England female academy, this theorem is signed and in the original eglomise (reverse painted) glass liner and gilt frame. Signed Frances M. Hart. Aegeria is a Roman Goddess of prophecy invoked by pregnant women. She is of the Camenae -- water spirits who dwell in freshwater springs and rivers. Their name means 'foretellers' as described in the website
Roman Gods/Goddesses
www.harmonysenchantedhearth.homestead.com). Wouldnt this be an extraordinarily personal gift for the about-to-be-mother in your life? Apologies for the amateur photos with flash; the colors are rich and intense in person
