The Crystal Palace Building--so-called because it was made all of glass--was the centerpiece of the 1852 New York City exhibition. It stood at what is now Bryant Park in midtown Manhattan at 42nd Street. The maker is unknown but the architecture is titled at the lower center of this unusual NYC needlework worked in traditional stitchery. (photo makes glass look milky| sorry) Has age patina.
