Intense wording and charming images combine in this hard- to- find Vermont sampler. Above the Federal period house is an older and yonger girl and numerous tree and flower motifs. The verse in two panels fills the top half of the needlework, done in irregular charming lettering. Minor sewn repair at center, otherwise in near original condition with fresh colors and strong needlework and foundation.
