Pieced of black and white 'mourning' prints from the turn of the 20th century era; the pattern contrasts bold areas of light and dark. Tan, cream and wine 'wallpaper' stripe fabric borders the crisp composition. Still visible are the rope quilted pencil lines in the border. Three brownish stains will likely wash out, but when something is in crisp original condition, we await the purchasers instructions about whether to wash a quilt in collector condition.
