A superior example of this 'show' quilt or 'best' quilt pattern, thanks to the placement of the pattern blocks so they face all in the same direction, and thanks to that great swag border to beautifully frame the fine workmanship. Fine visible quilting hroughout, minor popping in just some of the blocks. Collected in New England but may have been made more southerly.
