FEATHERED STARS 1860s PIECED QUILT green and white
The most beatuiful spring green - sometimes considered chartreuse because of its yellowish tones - is the one print used throughout this generously sized quilt. Provenance available to PA family. Superb quilting in various feathers, square grid pattern, and parallel lines. Has full pieced and partial blocks that make a frame about the border Has several pieced borders including an inner green one of the same print The center of this iteration of a feathered star is a diamond shape around which the arms are pieced like angled bowties. I love the feathered star concept and so have quilt a few in inventory with different colors,so be sure to look if this ia a pattern you like.
