Resembling an abstract painting by a 20th century artist such as Ad Reinhardt, this bold graphic combines reds and blues in large random shapes. Organized in 30 blocks, and framed with wine and black borders on opposing sides. Collected in Ohio, maker unknown. A bold presentation treating in fabric what a contemporary artist might explore in paint. This would look masterful on the wall in a contemporary interior, but would be useful also as originally intended as a warm bed covering in, say, Aspen or Lake Placid in the winter.
