Wool suiting organized in blocks of random shape shards each of which is centered with that surprising shot of color - a fuschia or orange center- to contrast with the somber wools. A military insignia and a haberdashery label suggest this was pieced from mens clothing and uniforms. Colors are vibrant; suiting is black, camel, grey, and the result is a modernist composition using fabric instead of paint.
