A true crib quilt--a scaled-down version of a traditional pieced pattern, complete with a zigzag border on three sides (the borderless top end is the head of the bed where a pillow would sit) The acid green, double pink, and goldenrod are representative colors of the 1860s. Much variety in the details for such a diminutive space makes for a charming example of the genre.
