Cotton prints ranging over a couple of decades have been combined in this graphic and unusual Log Cabin. The greys are called mourning or wash cottons and were prevalent in turn of the century dresses, followed by early feedsack prints of the 1920s. This is an infrequently seen iteration of the log cabin design in which strips of cotton grouped by light and dark tones are arranged in various rotations to form designs across the quilt surface.
