TOILE AND CHINTZ BARS STRIPPY ANTIQUE EARLY PIECED QUILT

Elegant and uncommon early early 19th century that feel like linen. The combination of harmonious tones of rose, camel and ivory in its lovely prints that I have not often seen form a strippy or Bars quilt pattern. Framed on all four sides so it can be presented either  horizontally or vertically on a bed or on  the wall. The photo of a corner of the backing shows the extensive quilting in rows one inch apart that was sewn in a complex geometric pattern that is a surprising touch given the densely patterned fabrics on the quilt surface.
