Delicious plaid taffetas were cut into strips and arranged by their light and dark tones to form the larger pattern of symmetrical diamonds that give name to the LIGHT AND DARK LOGCABIN variation. The maker apparently had access to this yardage, rather than using silk scraps, because there is such uniformity inj the fabrics throughout, more than might have come from a dressmaker's floor. Easy to complete as a quilt, or to hang for display, ask us.
