A pattern offered by James Cunningham and his weaver colleagues in New York State. Fantastic patriotic sentiments in the signature corner blocks and around the border, Undated by likely pre-1850. Highlighted by the terrific image of George Washington astride his horse. This is an uncommonly seen jacquard coverlet, and in red and white even more desirable. In excellent like new remarkable condition, supple and luxurious. Usable on either side with the legends legible on either side. The red in the photo here is not the true color; I will post more accurate photos soon. The first photo shows just one quarter of the coverlet.
