TWO BLUES AND WHTE DOUBLEWEAVE ANTIQUE GEOMETRIC COVERLET

A superb example of the weavers art, with an unusual combination of a dark indigo blue and a light cadet blue along with white. This particular double cloth weave gives a completelt different look one side from the other, where you can see th majority of the pattern is the lighter blue, reversing to the darker blue face on the other. Sometimes mistakenly referred to as a summer winter weave, this is actually a double cloth or double weave with the two different color faces joined together in the weaving at the intricate pattern.
