Different from traditional whiteworks which have a center medallion format, this one has fascinating graphic appeal thanks to its circular wreaths separated by serpentine rows that border it all around. Exquisite early quilting. Timeless visual appeal. Quickly photographed outdoors so that sunlight from behind could illuminate the quilting patterns. Most unusual to find a stuffed work, three-dimensional floral pattern made in the early 20th century. Each shaded yellow flower is slightly bent as if dancing in the breeze across the quilt surface.
